I added a few effects to give it that retro 480p CRT TV feel from when many of you gamers may have played Star Fox Assault. The style of voice I chose to portray him in is the style of Star Fox: Assault's variation. This is an improvised voice acting clip of Star Fox's General Pepper, a generic statement that could be heard within a Star Fox game spoken from General Pepper. Starfox, General Pepper, is the property of Nintendo.Quick update: I just noticed that the volume is a bit reduced, please increase your volume to where it's comfortable or easily heard.
Interestingly, Rick May was the same actor who did the voice of Wolf O'Donnell in his debut appearance. In English, he was voiced by Rick May in Starfox 64, and by Gary Eubank in Assault. But nowadays, he is voiced by Michihiro Ikemizu in all the Japanese language releases of the games that followed afterwards.
General Pepper was voiced by the late Daisuke Gori in the Japanese version of Starfox 64. I always thought he was a Bloodhound or a St. Though his breed is often disputed even to this day. He subsequently passed on his role to Peppy Hare, and was confined to his death bed in Starfox Command. As time went on, General Pepper grew ill due to his advancing age and retired from his role as the Commanding Officer of Corneria's Military.
In the first two games of the series, he was depicted as a middle-aged canine who sported a red military uniform with badges, and dark sunglasses. During the course of the games, he acts as the primary source for the Starfox team's missions. Long before the Starfox team was founded by James McCloud, General Pepper banished Andross to planet Venom as punishment for his rebellious criminal actions against Corneria.
